Canaan Ahu

Canaan is from the Waikato. The family dairy farm sold in the early 2000’s so this naturally led to further studies at Lincoln University. After graduating in 2014, he was employed full-time by Agvance helping navigate nutritional issues across canterbury in dairy nutrition. After several years in the animal health industry the urge to get back into soil health was a primary focus.
Canaan has experience in dairy production systems, people management and he has a joy in seeing people grow & develope.
Canaan loves spending time with his wife Morgan and two daughters. He has a love for swinging on the tools, building/fixing 4x4s with his friends. Canaan also values community and is involved at his local church - TheRiver.
Rebecca Lawrence

Rebecca has over 20yrs experience in the viticulture scene.
Rebecca is well established in the Marlborough area and is well recognised for her relentless drive to get vines thriving to their potential. Rebecca also has a soft spot for the Sheep and Beef sector, she can often be found out mustering the hills with her horse and dogs.
She is a quiet achiever but has some real talents hidden away. Recently she took out level 5 dressage National Champion with her horse Darcy. Rebecca is well respected in her community, hard working, diligent and kind. A real asset to our team!
Jeffrey Lamb

Jeffrey is our team’s essential glue, that connects many of our moving pieces together. He is passionate about increasing the viability and sustainability of our production systems. Jeffrey is one of our steady hands, that holds our ship together with years of experience in logistics & product management.
He has 3 beautiful girls that love to take his attention and on the weekends you can find him being a superdad!
Reagan Bayly

Reagan has over 20yrs experience in crop & arable production systems. Reagan has a passion to see crops flourish, reducing the reliance on herbicide & pest treatments. With a keen eye for detail & creativity, Reagan is well known for his depth of knowledge. solution-focused brain and recently we have discoverd, he’s quite a creative flare too.
Reagan is the director of ComplexAg, supplying a unique range of composites mineral + microbial products, specifically targeting the foliar market.
On the weekends you may find him with his dogs tackling some hills or on the chase to put some kai in the freezer.
Lachy Hynd

Lachy brings a lifetime of experience in horticulture, in both organic and contemporary systems, across a range of crop types. Having worked in production, management & advisory roles, Lachy brings a practical perspective to operational bumps. He loves the discussion around ways to improve/continually develop clients production systems.
Lachy is very well respected, he has a strong focus on returning crop byproducts to the production system, ultimately minimising wastage.
On the weekends, Lachy is often out kayaking, cycling, fishing or enjoying an adventure with his adult children or friends.
Chantelle Fisher

Chantelle is one of our quiet achievers that packs a punch. Chantelle brings practical hands-on farming experience to her consulting game, specifically championing those who want to push out their boundaries in biological farming. She is a bubble of joy, always ready to serve others and throw her whole self in.
On the weekends you will find Chantelle training her horse, socialising with friends or knocking her backyard into shape. Chantelle loves a good challenge and man can she give the blokes a run for their money!

Findal is a passionate learner & believes we can all achieve health across all aspects of life. He brings a strong knowledge of soil health, analytical research, data collection and relationship building skills.
He was the first university student we invested in, 3 years on and hes really starting to shine. We are excited to this next generation tackling our industries issues head on.
On the weekends you will seldom find Findal, you can almost guarantee he’s signed up on an adventure with friends, living life to his fullest. Findal has a great servant heart and a promising future ahead of him.

Cameron is a passionate farmer, actively demonstrating his craft on his own farm in the Nelson Lakes area. His love for Sheep & Beef runs deep, but more so his love for soil and seeing it bolt to life without breaking the bank.
Cam brings new eyes to old spaces, he’s passionate about sharing & showing others the possibilities that get overlooked.
Cam enjoys the outdoors, you will often find him hunting or fishing with friends.

Matt’s been in the dairy industry for 10yrs, with a strong grounding in practical experience, Matt delivers a strong, well-rounded approach to our team.
Matt is always pushing for excellence, for many of our clients his consistency is pivotal in seeing the onfarm rewards. His relational skills are second to none, he is a strong asset to our team.
Outside of work you will find Matt spending time with his family or hitting the hills on his bike or ski’s.

Conan is passionate about seeing people thrive. He has spent several years working for Central Plains Water scheme, helping implement water management strategies and support to its shareholders. Water is another precious resource, its quality & impact on our landscapes is significant.
Conan has been strengthening his skillset in soil management & health as he sees an opportunity to sow in and positively change the future of our farming practices

Maisy
Field Assistant
Maisy is our very friendly and hard-working field assistant. Her favourite part of the job is soil testing each Autumn! She loves getting lost chasing butterflies in the cover crops, unfortunately she doesn’t say marco too well. Needless to say, she brings great dirthy paws and laughs.
